The three-million metropolis, which is one of the largest cities in the world, is a place where history meets modernity, fun meets work, business meets tourism. In a word, diversity at its best in Spain.

The city of Madrid is divided into an older part, referred to directly as Old Madrid, and a newer part, i.e. Bourbon Madrid. In both, tourists will find many places worth seeing. The city of Madrid is known for its many tourist attractions. Actually, it is impossible to list all of them, so it is worth focusing on attractions related to sightseeing and nightlife.

Monuments:

There are countless monuments and museums in Madrid. The most important of them is, of course, the Prado – a museum known all over the world. HarvestPrado museum, is a painting from the 16th century and the following centuries. The museum attracts crowds of tourists every year.

There are so many monuments, as I mentioned earlier, that it is difficult to list them all. Noteworthy are:

Royal Palace – until recently, the seat of kings, now a place where we can see various types of exhibits, it is also worth looking at the gardens adjacent to the palace, where there are unique species of plants. Madrid’s La Amuldena Cathedral. Completed in honor of the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America. An interesting fact is that it is the first cathedral consecrated by Pope John Paul outside of Rome.

Of course, interesting places in Madrid are not only monuments. There are many places that are simply a symbol of this city. Squares are certainly such symbols Plaza Canovas del Castillo, Plaza de Cibeles, El Rastro, Plaza de Espana and many others.

Madrid is a place to visit, it is also a place to have a great time. There are countless places to spend time in the city. The most popular are various types of clubs, discos and bars. The most frequented area is of course the city center. It should be said simply – it starts to pulsate with life only in the evening and lives until dawn. Most in the areas:

Weather in Madrid

It will certainly make it easier during the holidays weather. Madrid is a sunny city, most of the year reigns in it temperatureexceeding 20 degrees Celsius. Of course, winters are worse, although one should not be influenced by Polish conditions. Winter in Madrid is often minus 10 degrees Celsius, so it’s almost spring for us.

Madrid is a place that cannot be disliked. It is worth spending a holiday there. The city is able to draw you in for a long time, interest you, and often shock you with its nice atmosphere and metropolitan character. It’s worth going there.

Spain is a country where people from all over the world come to see this corner of the Earth, learn its secrets and stories, discover interesting places and learn about the culture and customs of the Spaniards. One of the interesting Spanish provinces is Murcia – the ninth largest city in Spain. It is located centrally by the sea on the Iberian Peninsula.

Murcia is one of the places worth visiting, seeing and learning about. It is widely developed in terms of tourism, where it is visited by a lot of travelers in the season (not necessarily those who have chosen it as their destination). Mainly the center of Murcia is focused on tourism and culture, while the suburbs are dominated by industry.

While in Spain, it’s worth spending one day (because that’s enough) to get to know Murta from the side of history, monuments and attractions. A very interesting and unique object in Murcia is the Cathedral, which was built over four centuries. The uniqueness of the cathedral is expressed in the mixed styles of construction, which are described as Mediterranean Gothic. The church looks very interesting from the outside, and inside it has interesting decorations, ornaments, primitive sculptures and a huge processional monstrance, which contains 600 kg of gold and silver.

Another interesting monument is the town hall, which also catches the eye with its appearance. In addition, there are interesting museums in Murcia, where the works of local artists are collected, as well as other historical products that have been found in Murcia during excavations (pottery, ceramics). While in Murcia, it is also worth visiting the local Casino, where there is an Arab patio and vestibule, an English reading room, a Pompeian patio with Ionic columns, a billiard room and a French ballroom.

Visiting this Spanish corner can give you many pleasant experiences. We will certainly be surprised by the charm and charms of this wonderful place on Earth, about which, in fact, so little is said. In addition, after such a trip around the corners of Murcia, it is worth visiting the local restaurants and taking advantage of their cuisine, which is excellent.

Costa Blanca – general information.

Costa Blanca is a long – covering almost 200 km – coastal strip located south of Valencia. This place is famous mainly for its very attractive and beautiful sandy beaches and resorts. However, although they are an undoubted tourist attraction of this region, they are not the only reason to visit this corner of Spain. Costa Blanca, because it is also an opportunity to see quite interesting and representative buildings – and not only – of historical value. However, before we go to explore the Costa Blanca, it is worth getting acquainted with the weather conditions that prevail there.

Weather on the Costa Blanca.

The most favorable for tourists weather on the Costa Blancafalls in the period from June to August. Then we can count on really high temperatures reaching from 26 to 30 degrees C.
In period from January to Marchthe temperatures on the Costa Blanca range between 7 and 8 degrees C.
If we decide to visit the Costa Blanca during the period from April to Junethen we will be greeted by temperatures varying between 10 to 17 degrees C.
From September to December, there are such atmospheric conditions here that are ideal for people who do not like steamy and hot summer. Then we can meet the temperatures from 18 – 8 degrees C.

To sum up, it should be said that those who go to the Costa Blanca, dreaming only about sunbathing, should go there in the summer. The remaining months are intended rather for people who are focused on exploring the Costa Blanca.

Sights on the Costa Blanca.

The biggest tourist attraction of this area is the city Alicante. It is a fully Spanish, very elegant and thoroughly modern metropolis. There are numerous in its area monuments that are the cultural heritage of the Romans (city founders) and Arabs (they conquered the city in 1246).

Another, equally attractive in terms of historic city located on the coast is Orihuela. On its territory, you can find many historic medieval houses near the palace and sacral buildings.

Costa Blanca is also picturesque Orb Valley. In its area, you can visit typical Spanish villages, which are a great contrast to modern, very representative apartment buildings.

While staying on the Costa Blanca, you can also visit the city called Torrevieja. There are, among others, numerous historic churches, but not only. There is also a monument worth seeing here an ancient watchtower called Torre del Moro (otherwise the Old Tower) It used to be a very important defensive point of the city, defending access to it.
When we go to visiting the Costa Blancawe should also not miss the city named Caple. They are in it, to be more precise over the Mascarat Canyon – well-preserved ruins of an Arab castle.

La Gomera and her character.

The small island of La Gomera attracts tourists primarily with its uniqueness. Almost everything that makes up this picturesque corner can be considered unique. First of all, it deserves attention the shape of the island – it forms an almost perfect circle. The number and range of tourist attractions that await guests for less than a month is also impressive 380 square kilometers. Despite its picturesqueness and modernity, this island is one of the quietest areas of Spain. Therefore, even families with small children, as well as the elderly or those who dream of escaping from civilization and burying themselves somewhere where everything delights even the most fastidious eye of a tourist, can safely visit it.

La Gomera and its attractions.

The biggest attraction of this island is… professional whistling school. People who graduate from this school can expect that their whistle will be heard even at a distance of several kilometers (!). So, when visiting La Gomera, let’s not be surprised when we hear whistles from nowhere. In addition, when visiting La Gomera, we can also taste the specialty of this area, which is it real spanish coffee. According to not only local residents, this drink is characterized not only by its unique aroma, but also by its unique taste. Therefore, KAwa brewed and served in San Sebastian – the capital and at the same time one of the most representative cities of the island – is considered the best in all of Spain (!). It is worth finding out by personally visiting one of the small restaurants or cafes located on the island.

La Gomera weather.

The weather on La Gomera encourages you to visit this corner all year round, offering really very friendly climatic conditions. Even in summer, when temperatures reach up to 30 degrees C elsewhere, La Gomera can be expected 20 degrees C, which is very positively received mainly by people who do not like stuffy and hot summer. For almost a year round, you can count on the predominance of sunny days here.

La Gomera – time for sightseeing.

Visiting La Gomera can bring us many positive experiences. Although there are not too many typical buildings or pedestals described as historic, there is no shortage of this type of attractions on this island. Well, when visiting this picturesque island, it will probably draw our attention Columbus house. According to local reports, this is the house where Christopher Columbus himself lived, whenever he was on the island. When visiting the island, it is also worth seeing up close La Laguna Grande. According to local beliefs, this is where they used to take place witch gold (!). another notable place – although it is difficult to call it a typical monument – is Garajonay National Park. It covers the total area 4 thousand ha. It is situated in the middle of the island (!). Its uniqueness was noticed by UNESCO, which included the park on the list of world natural heritage. Visiting this place, we can saturate our eyes with the beauty of the local nature, admiring, among others, nearly 500 different species of trees.

Gran Canaria, uma das ilhas do Oceano Atlântico, que faz parte do arquipélago das Ilhas Canárias e localizada na sua parte central entre Tenerife e Fuerteventura. Embora localizado muito próximo da costa noroeste da África, em termos territoriais pertence à Espanha. Devido ao facto de Gran Canaria ser caracterizada por uma flora e fauna diversificadas, bem como pela diversidade climática e diferenças geográficas significativas, é também referida como um “continente em miniatura”.

Embora Gran Canaria seja uma ilha de forma arredondada, no centro da qual existe um maciço montanhoso de origem vulcânica, a ilha pode ser dividida em duas partes distintas. Uma delas – a nordeste – conhecida por Noreste caracteriza-se por uma forma moderna, com zonas sedimentares submarinas, mas também cones vulcânicos, assim como socalcos, planícies e desfiladeiros. A segunda parte – sudoeste – é o chamado Suroeste. Rica em desfiladeiros, é por isso a parte mais antiga da Gran Canaria, à qual também foram atribuídas as colinas mais altas da ilha, localizadas mesmo no seu centro.

Clima

Gran Canaria, assim como todo o arquipélago das Ilhas Canárias, estão entre as regiões quentes da Espanha. A prova disso pode ser o fato de que a temperatura média mensal do ar nesta área em janeiro chega a 18 graus Celsius. Isso faz de Gran Canaria um dos poucos destinos turísticos europeus também no inverno. Quando, entre outros, na Polónia o clima não é propício à recreação ao ar livre, a ilha espanhola permite-lhe desfrutar do verão em pleno inverno europeu.

Pontos turísticos e monumentos

Como é próprio de uma ilha, não faltam à Gran Canaria monumentos que são vestígios das suas conquistas. Além disso, nesta ilha espanhola, poucos vestígios da cultura das tribos indígenas que habitavam essas áreas também foram preservados. Destacam-se, no entanto, as realizações culturais mais importantes de Gran Canaria, que incluem a Gruta Pintada de Galdar e o Mosteiro de Valeron em Santa Maria de Guia. A primeira delas, ou seja, Cueva Pintada, conhecida como Grutas Pitorescas, é o único lugar em todo o arquipélago onde se podem admirar as pinturas descobertas dos Guanches. Figuras geométricas brancas, pretas e vermelhas em forma de triângulos, quadrados e espirais cobrem as paredes deste local. A caverna em si também pode ser admirada no Museo Canario em Las Palmas, onde está localizada sua réplica.
