Barcelona is one of the tourist attractions of Spain. It appears as one of the most dynamically developing Spanish metropolises. It is also described as a very prosperous port and a thriving commercial center of Spain. It is characterized not only by dynamic development and growth. Barcelona also has its own distinct and quite interesting culture.

Barcelona has a fairly mild climate. Summer there is warm and quite dry. The temperature in summer ranges from 21 to 26 degrees C. Winters are mild but humid. The prevailing temperatures at this time range from 5 to 19 degrees C. The lowest temperatures during the year are recorded here at the turn of January and February, and the highest in July – August.

Barcelona landmarks.

Visiting Barcelona is almost a must-see on our trip to Spain. Therefore, it should be at the top of the itinerary. The monuments of Barcelona that await us are, above all, very interesting museums and picturesque local arteries worth visiting, where many attractions await us.
The sightseeing tour of Barcelona should start with a visit to one of the most representative streets of this city – Ramblas. It is safe to say that it is a kind of paradise for every true European, thirsty for novelty and wanting to taste foreign luxury. The street is teeming with life from morning until late in the evening. You can walk and laze there, watching the performances of local musicians or comedians. Tired, we can go to one of the charming cafes or restaurants, where we will not only taste tasty dishes, but also “drown” in a truly Spanish atmosphere.

Within this artery, there is also, worth recommending Museum d’Art de Catalunya. Here you can admire, among others, works by Picasso.

Amateurs of blissful lazing can, in turn, go to the nearby one city ​​beach. Hanging bridges and picturesque passages, located at the northern end of the thoroughfare, allow you to reach a modern complex of such useful facilities as: shops, restaurants and cinemas.

While in Barcelona, ​​it is also worth visiting a wonderful complex of new sports facilities. They are concentrated in Parc de Mar Olympic Village.

It is also a notable place Barri Gotic that is, in other words Gothic Quartera. It concentrates mainly historic buildings from this historical period.
While visiting Barcelona, ​​it is also worth seeing one of the most peculiar creations of Spanish nature up close. It is Mount Montserratshaped like saw teeth. This elevation was created as a result of the drying of the area covered by the inland sea. When visiting Barcelona, ​​it is also worth going to Sagrada Familia. It is an exceptionally representative sacral building, which is still under construction. Its expected completion time is 2026.

Barcelona also invites you to visit the facility called Casa Mila. This building is characterized by an almost undulating structure. Due to its uniqueness and artistry, it was included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Art Heritage List.

Casa Batllo is another noteworthy object. It is a block of flats with a very characteristic roof resembling the shape of a dragon.

The magnificent one should also draw our attention Camp Nou football stadium. It was built in 1957. Currently, it belongs to FC Barcelona – one of the most numerous football clubs in the world.
